Set up great product pages that can be optimized for search engines, either by importing existing product data or entering new information.
Template and products can be set up or imported via SearchFit.
Help files are included in the admininstration area for all areas of product setup.
Products can be imported from either CommaSeparatedValues or TabSeparatedValues files.
Ability to import categories, subcategories, products, options, manufacturer name, metatags, headings, etc.
Vendors can also be imported and assigned to products for the new drop shipping feature.

Support of WebServices. Currently the following SearchFit's features are exposed as WebServices:
- do-test : just a test service
- do-import-store-records : import records to the store
- do-generate : start generation (and possible transfer)
- do-import-orders : import orders' information
SearchFit's WebServices are mostly used by programmers and developers, as these features allow them to integrate SearchFit via their own software.
"Dest Cart URL (HTTP)" property of the users may contain the non HTTPS URL of the cart. This URL is used to show non-secure information as popups of products and similar.
If textareas include special symbols like € ‘ ’ “ ” • – — ™ ¢ £ ¤ ¥ © ® ° ± · º ½ ¼ ¾, then the symbols will be repaced with the following html equivalents € ‘ ’ “ ” • – — ™ ¢ £ ¤ ¥ © ® ° ± · º ½ ¼ ¾ ÷ . This feature requires "iconv character set conversion facility" installed on the servers.
Configurable "Product Update Mode" with two choices. This setting is used for product import. The [Standard] choice creates links to existing products if different categories specified. The [No Links] choice enables reorganization of products by moving them to specified different categories.
If a given option is required, then the "required" property of individual groups of product options can be imported as well.
The names of the categorytypes, categories, and products can now be changed per user (website) and can be imported as well.

"Checkout Layout (2nd page)" property at Configure/PerUser can be set to display "Parallel Shipping+Billing".
During an import characters like C (copyright), R (reserved), and TM (trademark) will be replaced with appropriate HTML substitutes.
Products' templates keywords:
- a) AUTO GENERATED PRODUCT URL BRIEF: will be replaced with the the URL pointing to the webpage of the brief product
- b) AUTO GENERATED PRODUCT URL DETAILED: will be replaced with the URL pointing to the webpage of the detail product.
This allows for flexible text and image links.
When importing products, if the value of the importing product option contains "" then it will be created and marked as default one.
Tags for custom content on dynamic pages including: and - the content between these tags will be shown on all dynamic pages, but the checkout ones.
"Thanks Page" keywords including:
- a) SCART ORDER AMOUNT SUBTOTAL - will be replaced with the subtotal amount of the order (in selected currency)
- b) SCART ORDER AMOUNT SUBTOTAL USDOLLAR - will be replaced with the subtotal amount of the order (in us dollars)
The MISC/FilesRepos area allows the uploaded files to be organized in different folders and subfolders.
The keyword AUTO GENERATED TOOL CATEGTYPE will be replaced with a dropdown navigator that has category types only.
The administration navigation menu was changed to better group the available menu items, the names of some menu items were changed as well.
Functions for the Store/Customize and Handling/DropShipping features:
- Ability to select products by categoryType/category.
- Ability to deselect products by categoryType/category.
- Ability to assign products by categoryType/category.
Ability to import/export product web page names.
Ability to import categorytypes and categories web page names.
The Following Keywords can be used in the main templates: AUTO_GENERATED_METATAG_CONTENT_TITLE: will be replaced with the title from the metatags section of the web page.
Ability to have additional HTML anchor attributes for the custom web links.
Products have 2nd additional brief and detail descriptions fields available. Ability to import and export them.
Ability to search by product foreign id on the products' admin pages.

When a product is inactivated it is not unselected from the customized stores or drop shipping vendors. This allows the system to restore to the old configuration when the product is activated again. The inactive products are shown on the customize store and drop shipping vendors pages.
The "Edit Order Textarea Rows" property at Configure/PerUser has default value of 12 rows for all new customers.
Increased the max length of member's email fields from 25 to 100.
Ability to export product navigation bar tabs (refer to the export products examples).

Keywords available for the product templates:
- AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_NAME_ONLY: will be replaced with the name of the product (not as link)
- AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_URL_PRINTABLE_VIEW: will be replaced with the "Printable View" url (read the help for an example).
The following keywords are available for the export orders templates:
- ORDER_SELLER_ID: seller's id
- ORDER_SELLER_USERNAME: seller's user name
- ORDER_SELLER_FULLNAME: seller's full name
- ORDER_SELLER_COMMISSION: seller's commission
- ORDER_PRICE_SUBTOTAL_COST: cost of the ORDER is the subtotal calculated by the costs of the items instead of their selling prices

Ability to import the category/subcategory description below products.
The following tags allow custom content to be placed on the checkout pages only if a customer is not logged in as a member <scart_area_notmember> and </scart_area_notmember>.
The "Show Qty Field" property on the product options screen allows a Qty field to appear on the generated pages per option in case the option has a price and it is shown as check box or radio button.
The AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCTS_GROUP_id keyword can be used in the descriptions of category types and categories.
Ability to import eProducts + Registration Numbers, exposed a web service that allows the operation to be performed programmatically as well.

The product properties "To Order", "Order By Phone Only", and "Orderable By" were moved to the Misc tab and grouped together with the new "Order Offline Only" property.
New customers will have automatically created default.htm and missing.html custom pages.
The "Change NEW Order Status Rule" property at Configure/Per User allows the store owner to select whether the status of the NEW orders will be changed automatically to IN PROGRESS or not when clicked on the "view" link for the orders
Ability to show quantity field per checkbox and radio button option for groups of options with prices.
.name is an allowed extension for email addresses. For example user@domain.name
The following keywords available for the order emails: ORDER_DATE (the date of the order), ORDER_TIME (the time of the order), ORDER_SHIPPING_METHOD_NAME (the shipping method of the order)
The "duplicate product" function handles the assigned navigation bar (if any).

Checkout top and bottom templates support "common include" tags.
"Products: navigation bar type" configuration at Configure/PerUser/Generation allows the store owner to select the type of the products navigation bars to be "Static" (generate page per tab) or "Dynamic" (tabs are dynamically shown on the same page with refresh).
Ability to assign main CSS to a custom menu and web page.
"Custom Web Page Main CSS" configuration at Configure/PerUser allows the store owner to specify the default main CSS for all custom web pages.
"Custom Web Page Main Template" configuration at Configure/PerUser allows the store owner to specify the default template for all custom web pages.
Ability to browse products by categorytype only, which enables export by categorytype.
(Products: image as link). "Per User" setting allows the store owner to select whether or not the images of the products will be generated as links.
"CategoryType Main CSS" configuration at Configure/PerUser allows the store owner to specify the default main CSS for all categorytypes, categories, and brief products web pages.
"CategoryType Main Template (brief products)" configuration at Configure/PerUser allows the store owner to specify the default main template for all categorytypes, categories, and brief products web pages.
"CategoryType Main Template (detail products)" configuration at Configure/PerUser allows the store owner to specify the default main template for all categorytypes, categories, and detail products web pages.
"PRODUCT_ID_FOREIGN_SRC" keyword for product templates. If the product is of type link then this represents the foreign id of the source (original) product, if it is not a link then it is the foreign id of the product itself.
AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_ID_FOREIGN_SRC keyword for product templates. if the product is of type link then this keyword will be replaced with the foreign id of the source (original) product, if it is not a link then it will be replaced with the foreign id of the product itself.
The Configure/PerUser "Categories: show images (valid only if the categories have images)" was changed to "Categories: show images (show categories images on pages different than categorytype pages)". This means that if the categories images are not selected to be shown then they will appear on the categorytypes pages and nowhere else.
