Configure Taxonomy

Configure Taxonomy Overview

The benefit of using the Configure Taxonomy screen is that you can create a better product type attribute per product on your Google Base feed. The product type attribute indicates the category (or categories) of the product being sold. SearchFit allows you to automatically create and deliver a feed to Google Base using the Product Feeds screen (located within the Marketing tab) Google Base panel. The settings you enter on the Configure Taxonomy screen, Associate Taxonomy Screen and Google Taxonomy screen are used to create your Google Base feed.

See more information about Google Product Taxonomy here.
