There are two separate issues in Google Analytics that the help group
insists are results of incorrect code placement/values.

Issue 1)
Google reports different transaction revenues that than product revenues.
I.E. 1 Day says $1,000 in transactions done, $600 of products sold. This is
not due to shipping or tax or anything like that. The products are just not
reporting the correct information to Google. Please see images below.

Issue 2)
Goal conversion is still messed up. I believe the reason is due to the fact
that page 4 of the conversion isn't "real". I could be mistaken but if I read
the code correctly when someone clicks confirm on Page 3 it tells Google
they went to page 4. This is why my conversions show correctly put the
funnel visualization is incorrect. See pictures attached of both 3 step and 4
step results and funnels.

Please let me know when this is fixed or if I am simply incorrect in my
analysis.

Thanks

After reviewing your post, I'm unable to find any errors for Issue 1. Please read below and let me know if there is something I've missed:

Issue 1 Google Analytics Ecommerce Reporting

Regarding the Google Analytics Report: Product Performance > Product Overview
- Equals Sum Of "Charged Totals" from SearchFit Control Panel "Orders" screen.
- Does not include "Shipping".
- Notice there is one Column for "Revenue" and no column for "Shipping".

Regarding he Google Analytics Report: Ecommerce Product Performance > Transactions
- Equals Sum of "Sub Totals" from SearchFit Control Panel "Orders" screen.
- Does include shipping
- Notice there is one Column for "Revenue" and another for "Shipping".

Issue 2 Google Analytics Funnel Goals

Please clarify the issue occurring with the funnel visualizations.

Ed, as always thank you for your help.
I'm sorry I did not seem to be clear in describing the issues.

Issue 1)
The Sum Of "Charged Totals" from SearchFit Control Panel = $12,565.97 from Sept 1 to 30. That total matches the transaction total in Google and our independent records. $12,565.97 is the correct amount for that period. The correct aggregate amount after you remove S&H and Tax is $10,010.23. Not $8,983.15 as the product generated report shows. As I mentioned after discussing these issues in the Google Analytics help group the consensus was that the code is done wrong on Searchfits end in respect to the product revenue.
Google looks at separate data when examining the products value/price and the sum transaction value. That would explain the why the transaction value matches to the penny and the products value is off in space.

Issue 2)
If you look at the 2nd picture after I describe issue 2 in the OP http://www.americover.com/images_templ/funnel4step.jpg you will see that the funnel shows 0 people making it all the way through the funnel. This is the funnel that is set up via your directions using step 1,2,3,4. When set up in that manner Google "Goal Overview" will still see that goal as completed, but the funnel is obviously broken and it shows all people exiting after step 3 and none going to Step 4 which is set as the final step for the goal (Out of the 10 who got to step three 9 actually completed the order).
The alternative funnel shown in http://www.americover.com/images_templ/funnel3step.jpg is step up with step 3 as the final step. It reports goals as completed but if someone abandons Step 3 it obviously wouldn't know that.

I hope this better details the issues I am experiencing.

PLEASE RIGHT CLICK/VIEW IMAGE on the OP pictures as this forum does not have an image resize tag and the pictures are to big for the frame.

I'm checking another cart and am not able to replicate these issues. Your help in resolving these would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the clarification. In your example, you mention:

The correct aggregate amount after you remove S&H and Tax is $10,010.23. Not $8,983.15 as the product generated report shows.

Can you please give another example that includes orders from one day only (the less orders the better)? This will help me investigate.

Regarding your example picture "funnel4step.jpg" what date range is the report showing?

Ed thank you for guidance. The short answer first the date range in issue
2 is Sep 23-30.

Now to the long one... I believe I have identified some orders that
demonstrate the problem as described in the OP Issue 1

Issue 1) I have no idea why these items are the ones that don't show to
Google but but as illustrated in the images below they are not reporting at
all. I'm sure these are not the only two items that are creating a problem,
as we didn't sell enough of either of these items in Sept to account for the
2k difference, but it is a very long process to identify problem orders so
hopefully this will be enough to get you started.

Example A)

Thanks Again,
Ben

We've inspected the SearchFit Google Analytics integration script and have not yet found any possible causes of the error. Could be on Google's end. We are still working on it. Will keep you posted.

Are you able to place a test order that includes the same products as one of your examples? We are trying to determine if the issue is related to the products ordered.

To place a test order, you may switch the credit card processor to "test mode" on the "credit card processors" screen.

If you place the test order, please view the source of "Thanks" page, save it and email to me. The "Thanks" page contains a JavaScript object with all the data that gets sent to Google Analytics.

Ed,
I'll do it late tonight as not to disturb the site. What do I use for a test # again?

If you switch to test mode then try using visa 4007000000027 as a test card number. This number is given by authorize.net as a test number.
