How can we tell if or website (filmsourceinc.net) is using cookies to gather information? And if so how can we determine what those cookies are trying to gather?

A third party application could be used to read your cookie information.
There is no cookie-reading application that we support or recommend.
After some brief research, I found one that you may want to investigate:
