Sometimes it's so annoying if you made a new custompage for example and you need to generate....if you need to go back to the new custompage you have to navigate your way up again

As a frequent generator, I understand where you are coming from.
We need to find a different solution than a popup. We don't want to use a popup, because if a popup is closed too early, problems may occur.
With SearchFit v8, you can Generate, then immediately navigate back to the desired screen (without waiting for generation to continue).
I have some other ideas about how to improve the usability of the generation process, but it may not make it to the next release. |

That is a good way to go Dave. Thats why IE or FireFox or any browser allow us to open multiple instances that will share the same session
