changes and new features

1. NEW FEATURE: the status of the orders can be changed by clicking on the status icon shown on the main orders page. An email to the Customer can be sent using a template while updating the status as well.

2. BUG FIXED: there was a JavaScript problem with the generated custom pages of type "Link+Page without Template" and "Only Page without Template"

3. NEW FEATURE: the dynamic search now searches over the products' numbers as well

4. NEW FEATURE: SearchFit supports cybersource.com real-time creditcard processor

5. CHANGE: menu item "Coupons" changed to "Discounts" and moved under the STORE menu

6. NEW FEATURE: added new coupon's properties
a) "Valid for Customer" helps the user of SearchFit to create coupons that are valid for "all (customers + members)" OR "members only" OR "special members only"
b) "Name" of the coupon
c) "min quantity" of the order
d) "free s&h" for the order

7. NEW FEATURE: coupons can be assigned to CategoryTypes, Categories, Products, Manufacturers

8. NEW FEATURE: delete all expired coupons with a click of a button

9. NEW FEATURE: Discounts. Discounts can be created per CategoryType, Category, Product, or Manufacturer. The difference between discounts and coupons is that for the coupons the buyer has to enter a valid coupon code to get the discount.

10. BUG FIXED: the amount of the coupon's discount can not be bigger than the subtotal of the order

11. NEW FEATURE: (ChiefAdmins only) the customization of a store can be reset with a click of a button. The reset makes the selected user to use all products if he/she has been using a subset of products from the store.

12. NEW FEATURE: (ChiefAdmins only) added a new function that enables the names of the products' webpages to be changed with a click of a button, making them the same as the products' names. The same function is available for the names of the categories' webpages.

13. NEW FEATURE: (ChiefAdmins only) added a new function that enables the names of the products' images to be changed with a click of a button, making them the same as the products' names.

14. NEW FEATURE: new layout for products' options of type textfield is now supported. Currently available layouts: "dropdown per option group", "textfield per option", "checkbox per option", "radiobutton per option"

15. NEW FEATURE: different layout can be assigned for each group of product's options. For instance, some options could be shown as dropdowns, other as textfields, 3rd as checkboxes, 4th as radiobuttons for a particular product.

16. BUG FIXED: if customer adds items with flat S&H only to the cart, then the S&H fee was still calculating by the configured non-flat method

17. BUG FIXED: the progress bar was not showing a correct 100% value at the end of the transfer of the generated website to an external server

18. CHANGE: there is no more "Dear <recipient_fullname>" in the emails sent to the subscribers of the mailing list and the members. However, the user of SearchFit may include the keyword RECIPIENT_FULLNAME in the body of the email. The keyword will be replaced with the name of the recipient and then the email will be sent. This way the users have more control over the content of the emails sent to the recipients.

19. NEW FEATURE: added a new status of orders "Incomplete".

20. NEW FEATURE: the generation engine makes the categories' images (if any) to be links to the categories' pages

21. NEW FEATURE: (mass orders function) ability to update orders' statuses and send emails of a status change of orders with a click of a button.

22. NEW FEATURE: if the store requires the buyer to agree to it's "terms and conditions" then the engine assigns it to each order, so the user of SearchFit can always review them for any new/old orders if necessary. Also, this allows the store to have different "terms and conditions" during different periods and the old orders will still keep the terms at the time of purchase.

23. NEW FEATURE: new keyword ORDER_TERMS can be used in the templates of the "export orders", "receipt email", "dropshipping email" that will be replaced with the store's terms and conditions applied to the order

24. NEW FEATURE: the import feature has new action:
a) delete records (helps big stores easy to delete subsets of products)

25. PROBLEM SOLVED: the system has been changed to solve a problem caused by "Norton Internet Security" Ad/Popup blocker. Now even if that blocker is turned on, the admin, generated website, and scart pages should work properly.

26. CHANGE: if product is changed to active/inactive then all products of type links to the product are changed automatically to active/inactive as well.

27. NEW FEATURE: added an option to the "configuration per user" that allows the generation of the popularity links to be disabled.

28. BUG FIXED: if product of type link was deleted then the images of the original (source) product were deleted as well

29. NEW FEATURE: categories can also be created as links to existing already categories (similar to product links)

30. NEW FEATURE: generation of websites for multiple selected users (stores). This comes to support a SearchFit installation with many users, so with a click of a button all websites for all selected users can be generated.

31. NEW FEATURE: "Files Repository" function has been implemented, where the users may temporary upload files. For example, this repository can be used from users that want to import products and do not have a server where they can put the products' images for the import.
