changes and new features

1. NEW FEATURE: SearchFit supports moneris.com real-time creditcard processor

2. NEW FEATURE: SCART/TemplTop and SCART/TemplBottom support customized tags that enable different text (or HTML) to be shown on different pages. For example some customers may want to show special content on the "Member Registration" page. See the help of those templates for more info.

3. NEW FEATURE: (Categories : on the menu). Added a new option to the configuration per user, which allows the user of SearchFit to select the way the categories expand.
a) Expand per Request: standard
b) Expand Always: categories will be always expanded on the menu and the subcategories will be always shown (this helps small stores with not so many subcategories to have good looking and easy to navigate menu)
c) Expand Never: categories will be never expanded on the menu and the subcategories will be always hidden (this helps huge stores with plenty of subcategories to have good looking and easy to navigate menu)

4. CHANGE: the text of the headers of the menu where hardcoded to be bold. This is fixed and the weight of the headers' text of the menu is configurable via CSS. To keep your headers in bold include "font-weight: plain;" in ".menu_header" of the WebSite/CSSMain before the next generation.

5. NEW FEATURE: SearchFit supports USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, and JPY currencies with PayPal

6. NEW FEATURE: if "Monitor All Transactions" for the PayPal payment method is selected to be "YES" then order with status "NEW (not finished)" will be created prior the actual payment and the status will be changed to "NEW" when PayPal notifies for a successful payment. Helps find orders that have been paid but have not been finalized from the buyer on the PayPal's pages.

7. NEW FEATURE: showing a warning message if some kind of Ad (PopUp) Blocking software that is turned on prevents products to be added to the cart when the buyer clicks on the "Buy Now" link.

8. NEW FEATURE: members can close their accounts if they want

9. NEW FEATURE: (Products: name as link). Added a new option to the configuration per user, which allows the user of SearchFit to select whether or not the names of the products will be generated as links.

10. NEW FEATURE: (Categories : show list of links). Added a new option to the configuration per user, which allows the user of SearchFit to hide the list of sucategories on the category's webpage content. Some users would like to show the links to the subcategories by their own way on the categories pages.

11. NEW FEATURE: (Required CC Security ID). Added a new option to the configuration per user, which allows the user of SearchFit to set that the Credit Card Security ID is a required field on the checkout pages if the selected payment is by credit card.

12. NEW FEATURE: the user may show/export orders FROM an order number TO an order number on the orders page (helps to export/print invoices)

13. CHANGE: on the checkout pages: if the buyer checks the "Same as the Shipping Address" checkbox first then all changes on the shipping address will be automatically applied to the billing address.

14. CHANGE: changed the template that exports SearchFit's orders to QuickBooks as Invoices to support taxes.

15. NEW FEATURE: created a new template that exports SearchFit's orders to QuickBooks as Sales Receipts. The template is available at the "examples" section.

16. NEW FEATURE: added a new user's property called "Email(s) (Text Format)". The user of SearchFit can setup an email address, where he/she will receive the emails of the orders in Text format. In request of customers that want to receive the emails on their wireless devices that do not support HTML.

17. NEW FEATURE: the prices of the products' options now can be imported as well using the import products feature

18. NEW FEATURE: security check, which prevents unknown websites to use the store (checkout pages). The websites that are enabled to use the checkout pages are ONLY those generated by SearchFit. No more than 1 (one) website per user is allowed to use the checkout pages.

19. NEW FEATURE: tell a friend (see the help of the main template)

20. NEW FEATURE: "preview email" function for Members/SendEmail and MailingList/SendEmal is now available to preview the email prior sending it

21. NEW FEATURE: the database search is extended to support search by keywords+categories, keywords+manufacturers, keywords+categories+manufacturers or any other combination of keywords, categories, and manufacturers (for an example of a search by keywords+categories see the help of the main template).

22. NEW FEATURE: the paypal icon can be customized

23. NEW FEATURE: (Manage all Members). Added a new option to the configuration per user, which allows the user of SearchFit to manage all members for all users.

24. CHANGE: checkout pages: the subtotal of the order that is a base for calculation of the "S&H by order amount" now has the coupon discount applied. In other words: the subtotal of an order that is used for the calculation of the "S&H by order amount" is lower if there is a valid coupon.
