Has anyone implemented a blog on an SF hosted site? Any thoughts, input, feedback, issues, etc that you can think of? I have just begun looking into this and wanted to see what others were doing or have found.
Thanks!

SF should not care what kind of 3rd party services you want to install. You just have to add corresponding links in your SF pages to those new pages and you should be all set.

This failed first time I posted, so I apologize if it shows up twice...
Has anyone installed Wordpress ? Does it work okay?
Is it recommended to contact the office to have them create a subdomain, or just install Wordpress into a folder.. ex: yourdomain.com/blog ?
thanks! |

We have several websites that use www.blogger.com , which is owned by Google.
The blog is displayed on the same domain as the SearchFit website, usually on a folder or subdomain.
An example would be http://www.heater-store.com/blog/
To setup the Blog you must create the account on blogger.com, and contact your SearchFit sales representative, he'll be able to connect the blog to your website.
There are no charges to do this.

Using Wordpress here and works like a charm..it's a far more better choice than problogger in terms of SEO ,etc..
Better to place it in a folder and not a subdomain..

Good to hear..
If you want to have some 'SEO' benifit out of your blog, install the headspace2 plugin. It will make it you very easy to assign titles and descriptions to your posts.
