I'm trying to remove the price from the featured products template so that our home page featured price says Enquire about price instead of the actual price of the item at the MFG request.

I removed the Auto Generated Final Price tag and replaced it with the words Enquire about Price, but after generating my site again, it still shows the price.

I've attached the code I placed in the template and don't know what I'm missing. Please help.

www.vendingondemand.com this is the page I'm trying to change

Below is the HTML Code I'm using.

<table width="132" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="border-right:1px solid #e4e4e4; border-bottom:1px solid #e4e4e4;">
AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_FORM_ADD2CART_BEGIN
<tr>
<td style="height:200px; text-align:center;">AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_IMAGE_SMALL</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td style="height:60px; text-align:center; font-size:11px;">AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_NAME</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td style="height:14px; text-align:center;">Price: <b>Enquire about price</b></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td style="text-align:center; padding-top:5px; padding-bottom:5px;"><a href="AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_URL_DETAILED"><img
src="images_templ/new/vending-more-info.jpg" alt="View Details!" border="0"></a><br><br>
<a href="" OnClick="AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_URL_MOVE2CART"><img src="images_templ/new/vending-add2cart.jpg"
alt="Add This Item to Your Cart!" border="0"></a></td>
</tr>
AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_FORM_ADD2CART_END
</table>

After inspecting your template, it looks correct. Please generate your site (or just generate "Custom Pages") and check again. If the display is still not correct, then let us know.

For anyone that's interested... You can determine what template is assigned to a Product Group by:

1. Click the "Products" tab
2. Click the "Product Groups" icon. The "Product Groups" screen will appear.
3. Click the "Edit" link corresponding to the Product Group that you would like to inspect. The "Edit Product Grop" form will appear.
4. Locate the select box labeled "Product Template". The value currently selected in the Product Template select box is the template that's assigned to the Product Group.

I did generate the custom pages and the whole site several times. The pricing is still there.

You have a Webpage template assigned to your home page named:

VendingOnDemand.com - Homepage Template

That template does not include the "AUTO_GENERATED_CONTENT_TAG".

Since there is no AUTO_GENERATED_CONTENT" tag (or any other SearchFit tag), ALL items displayed on your home page (menus, products, links, etc) are not being updated as you update various settings throughout your Control Panel.

The solution is that you should assign your Main Template to your home page, or create a new Website Template that uses SearchFit tags (like AUTO_GENERATED_CONTENT, AUTO_GENERATED_MENU, etc).
